BB EMILY 'TO QUIT BRISTOL'

Disgraced Big Brother contestant Emily Parr is set to quit the country in the aftermath of the racism incident that saw her booted off the controversial TV show.

The 19-year-old former drama student from Downend is said to be "desperate" to move to Spain because of the fallout surrounding her exit from the Channel 4 reality show - triggered when she used a racist insult to a fellow contestant.

The revelation by a former classmate comes after Emily told a gossip magazine she had received two



death threats since leaving the show.

She has also received more than 800 supportive messages via her page on the social networking website MySpace - but is still scared of going out in public and embarrassed about the effect the outcry over her remark has had on her family.

In her first interview since being booted out of the Big Brother house, Emily told Heat magazine that the first thing her mum said to her was: "You stupid, stupid girl. How could you do that?"

Telling the magazine she was still "in a state of complete and utter devastation", Emily said: "My whole family's a mess. They don't deserve this - any of them.

"My sisters are doing their A-levels.

"Examiners have been walking them to their cars after their exams."

Emily was kicked out of the Big Brother house on June 7 after using the word n****r to black housemate Charley Uchea.

She told Heat that since then she had received two death threats, one of which said: "I'm going to hunt you down, girl."

Describing the experience of going back home to Downend, Emily said: "The worst part was unpacking. I put that off for two days.

"I've either been in a hotel or my house - I am a bit nervous about going out right now."

When the Evening Post contacted Emily's home to ask her about the Spanish move we were unable to talk to her or her parents.

And her sister Jessica and uncle Craig would not confirm whether she was going to leave England for Spain.

But a former fellow pupil at the Ridings High School in Winterbourne, who asked not to be named, said: "She is moving to Spain because she's getting desperate.

"Her father has a business there and she's moving to get away from everyone.

"She lived in Spain before she came to England, and she has lived in America."

There were more than 200 complaints by viewers to television watchdog Ofcom about Emily's outburst on the hit reality TV show.

She also came under fire from fellow former students at Filton College and many Evening Post readers who contacted the paper to accuse her of shaming the city.

But Emily's relatives said that although she might be "immature", Emily is not a racist.

Speaking shortly after Emily's removal from the show, another of her uncles, warehouse worker James Coughlin, 42, told the Post: "Everybody makes mistakes in life and I think this is probably an immature mistake by an immature girl, but I don't think she would have meant it.

"I'm not a racist myself and I don't think her family are racist at all."

Yes he did and he started up a lads magazine i think.

Kitten also moved to Perth, Australia with her girlfriend and Claire from BB1 moved to Spain.

Load of rubbish, Emily said she wasnt letting all the death threats stuff get to her in a myspace messgae. Also, funny how they only told you how many complaints they were for her saying it, and not how many there were for her getting chucked out

It was only two anyway.

But those 922 have been written off as card carrying KKK and BNP supporters especially by certain people on this forum
