[Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy have donated $3m (£2.4m) to US college Claremont McKenna, where Ms Murthy studied economics and French. The donation was given in 2018 while Mr Sunak was an MP for Richmond. The People quotes a source close to the PM as saying he and his wife "give money to a wide range of philanthropic causes and charities".]

Seems a tad extravagant… be better donating to more deserving causes.. in the uk imho

she was paying back for the education she received. They also make loads of other charitable donations. Why pick one to criticise. Totally bias

It's not some random College, she studied there so I don't really see the issue, that is like saying people should not donate to causes in other nations because there are plenty UK charities...this is scraping the barrel I am afraid
