Default UK Rail RMT ,ASLEF Union Rail Strikes 2023

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61723515

[Thousands of railway workers will walk
in a three-day national strike later
this month which threatens
major summer travel disruption across the UK.

The RMT Union said it will "shut down" the
country's railway network on 21, 23 and 25 June
after talks over pay and redundancies fell through.

More than 40,000 staff from Network Rail
and 13 train operators are expected to take part.

The action is being dubbed the "biggest rail strike in modern history".]

this is why labour will never get elected. They keep championing causes that piss off the majority of voters. I think they are pretty much clueless

It won't happen.....no reputable recruitment company will ask their staff to cross a picket line. Currently it's illegal to employ agency staff to back filll for staff striking and even if the Gov do change the law, I doubt many people will.want to cross a picket line

strikes are going to be a regular thing. Who can blame someone for wanting sufficient money to live. The treasury just expect people to suffer and be grateful, and that's just not going to happen
