No place for Jeffery Epstein’s friends then. I guess they'll all have to go free.

I've said this for ages.and totally agree Mock.

It is in my view bonkers to put anyone convicted of theft into prison.
The costs and use of the prison places is beyond any common sense.

They should be sentenced to do more community work.
Have that supervised to ensure its done.
Just as one possibility.

Prison places should be for any act of criminal danage to property or violent harm to another person.
Obviously rapists, sexual assaults crimes and all violent crimes right up to murder.
Then all those are who should be in the prison places.
Most could be in for longer too if the non violent offenders were sentenced to other payback judgements .

Exactly Joey.

Hopefully the Politicians will notice this solution sooner rather than later.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one Mock.

It's like pulling teeth out even in Labour to get that thinking across, never mind other politicians and this ever failing but still supported shower in government now.

Let out literally every person who wasn't convicted of a violent (or threat of/incitement to violence) crime. Problem solved TBH. There's no real "need" to lock up anyone who isn't an immediate threat to the public, and there are other solutions.
