https://www.montereybayaquarium.org/...-rosa-has-died she died at the age of 24, at time of her death, world's oldest sea otter in captivity, she also was a surrogate mother to 15 other otters at the aquarium  i saw her too all those years ago, back when we were in Monterey (is a very lovely aquarium i have to add)
