Default What’s our take on the new-and-less-rude Simon-Cowell persona?

Do you prefer him now he’s leaning more into the side of his brand of camp fun or did you prefer the infamous dry-sardonic version of him?

The old side of him matched the times the likes of x factor and pop idol were a lot more brutal and the shows took themselves very seriously, whereas BGT is more family fun cheesy Saturday night light telly so he doesn't need to mean on it. I prefer him now I think it's more genuine

Fair point. He didn’t start off this way, though, on Britain’s Got Talent, did he?

No he didn't. It seemed that when he had a child he changed. Maybe because he wanted to set a good example?

I miss both Simon and Craig off Strictly when they were more rude.

Don't get me wrong they could seriously cross the line sometimes, but it did overall make for better TV imo.
