a fire at an nightclub in North Macedonia killed

The blaze broke out around 02:30 local time

in Kocani, where about 500 people had gathered

This is awful. Poor people.

Reminds of a similar incident that happened in the USA a while back. The backdrop of the stage went up in flames from pyrotechnics during a rock band's gig in a small club venue, many of the concert-goers thought it was just part of the show I suppose and no end lost their lives either from the fire or the crush to get out. Horrific.
