PRESS RELEASE: Housemates pass task
BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATES PASS WEEKLY TASK
Big Brother has announced to the housemates that they have passed their fifth weekly task. This means they will have £119.93 to spend on this week’s provisions.
This week, Big Brother set the housemates a “getting to know you” task. They decided to bet a whopping 95% of their total weekly shopping budget on successfully completing the task so, having passed, they will have £119.93 between 6 people to spend on supplies for next week. Their shopping will be delivered on Sunday.
The task involved the housemates having to work together to memorise 10 questions and answers about each other. At 2pm this afternoon, each housemate was called individually to the diary room and asked to answer three questions. As a group they were allowed to answer one question incorrectly. If they got more than one wrong answer between them, however, Big Brother would consider them to have failed.
Gaetano was the only housemate to get one of his questions wrong. Asked, “which five housemates said they have cried within the past month?” Gaetano answered “Gos, Ray, Tania, Steph and Nush.” Ray was incorrect, the correct answer was Scott. Gaetano seemed to realise his error almost as soon as he’d left the diary room and sat shaking his head.
On hearing they had passed this week’s task, the relieved housemates cheered and clapped. “I thought we were going to fail that one,” said Steph, a feeling many of the others seemed to share. To celebrate Big Brother provided them with jugs of summer drinks and cucumber sandwiches.
