And if i witnessed someone beating an animal, like kicking a dog or something, i would feel a strong urge to rearrange their facial features.

Oh God, me too. I can watch films where people are blown up, shot, tortured... Have someone kick a dog though, and I'm like... B@stard!

Frankly I'd bring back the birch for people who abuse animals.
