Nicky has won the housemates a takeaway dinner after passing a secret task to make them laugh.

After visiting the diary room this afternoon, she joined the rest of the group in the garden and began to regale them with jokes.

Kicking off with: "A man goes into a bar with an ostrich and a cat," she then followed up with such classics as: "What do you call a man with a spade on his head?"

But she struggled to keep the group's attention when Charley wandered into the house and the twins started squealing. Nicky soon began begging: "Will everyone just laugh, please?"

When the accounts executive was called back to the diary room, the bemused housemates speculated that she had been given a secret mission.

"She was really funny, she's genuinely funny, she was hilarious!" enthused Brian, having cottoned on to what was afoot.

Charley joined in, saying: "That was so funny, I was over there crying my eyes out with laughter!" But she added: "She isn't skipping eviction for this, is she?"

Later, Nicky announced that she had passed her task to complete a two minute stand-up routine in front of the group.

Standing on one of the beds, she told the others that Big Brother would deliver some takeaway menus as a reward.

"You can have fish and chips, kebab, burger, pizza, Indian or Chinese. You can have whatever you want," she said, as a delighted Brian swept her off her feet.

Big Brother rewarded the housemates with a take away meal, this evening.

Nicky came out into the garden with a blackboard and menu. She called for all the housemates to come to her, saying: "Guys I've got ten minuets to take your orders."

Nicky warned them: "We've got to be quick," explaining: "You're allowed two dishes each."

Liam agonised over what to have as Charley ordered "special fried rice" and "sweet and sour pork".

"Can I have hot and spicy pizza please?" asked Liam, adding: "Chicken strippers please."

Carole ordered for herself and Amanda, asking for a chicken and mixed vegetable korma.

In the bedroom, Brian told Liam: "I've got a kebab and cheese sauce and chips with burger sauce," bragging: "I'm not poncing about with this fancy food."

Housemates enjoyed a dinner of booze and takeaway tonight, as a reward for Nicky passing her secret task.

Tasked with performing stand-up to her unsuspecting housemates, Nicky won the group whatever food they wanted.

Big Brother later delivered a selection of pizzas, Chinese, cider and beer.

"Wow, three dishes," grinned Charley. "I can eat this tomorrow!"

nicky telling jokes is not natural so its obvious they were a bit suspicious of her but she passed and they did enjoy the food
