Three ‘wolves’ caught by police after roamingBaffled officers were called to reports of “howling wolves roaming a neighbourhood” in Preston, Lancs., yesterday (Thurs).
Worried locals reported sightings in the Barton area, sparking online speculation and concerns whether they might be wolves, coyotes or golden jackals. Officers from Lancashire Police, including specially trained dog handlers, were quickly sent to the scene – and the animals were rounded up and taken to safety. UK streetsThe force said it is not known what breed the “wolf-type animals” are but investigations are underway to find out.
