Looking back at it, I took a dislike to her from the time she enterd the house and started slating HWHmates. But she was treated like a yoyo by Liam, if you watch that clip in her interview, you could see how badly she was treated. But for some reason in this country, the woman is always blamed for everything. Liam treated her like shhit and kept slating her behind her back. Davina asked her tough questions, which I think were out of order. Making it sound like it was her fault. I think people will realise that the vilain was Liam, he did to her just like he did with Nicky. Nicky god fed up with it and was called all kinds of names. Amy stood up to him last night but I think it was too late. And when I hear people saying how Liam would be good for Amanda, it just shows that a selfish chauvinistic pig can do no wrong in this country. What I am sure of however, is Amy will do really well on the outside, and she will be all over magazines in days. Good luck to her.

I think Liam did/does genuinely like her, and I don't think there's much comparison with the Nicky situation. He treated her (Amy) that way because he wanted to maintain his status in the house - to have his cake and eat it. I'm not suggesting that's a nice way to treat someone by any means, but it's not typical 'chauvinistic pig' behaviour either. He wants to keep on side with the lads, with Carole and with the twins, all for varying reasons. Look how desperate he was to reassure Carole that there was nothing going on between them. Although why the hell he should care about that, I really can't fathom. I don't think Davina asked her 'tough' questions, really. She had to play devil's advocate. Carole put the suggestion out there (although some would've made similar assumptions themselves without the need for prompting), and it would've been a soft and rather hollow interview if she'd not brought it up. I'm not going to judge Amy because I don't know her, and certainly haven't seen anything worthy of damning her. But although Carole said it in a pretty nasty way, none of us will ever really know whether she was watching and thought getting cosy with Liam was a viable gameplan or not. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt myself, but I wouldn't really blame anyone else for thinking otherwise. No matter which side of the fence you're on, it's still only guesses and assumptions. But good luck to the girl - there's been far worse hm's. |

The unpopularity of Amy I think is well OTT. I can only think it is for a vareity of reasons that has little to do with what Amy may really be like.
Amy has a figure a lot would long for. Voting based on Jelousy comes to mind. Amy targeted Liam. Liam fans and Jelousy comes to mind. Amy has a job description of which makes her a target from the puritanical brigade....More negative votes.... Shame really. Another act of lets sabotage intersting housemates from BB and then complain about how boring it becomes. |

I think liam did actually quite like liam to,but he cared even more about his status int he house than amy, which is fair enough i suppose it is a gameshow afterall with the idea being trying to stay in there as long as possible and maybe even win which to be fair they all want to win underneath even if it means using certain tactics as long as they are not to harsh.Did you hear on live feed last night probabley at around 2.30am liam was talking to kara and he acciendently called her amy that was funny he went a bit red , i wonder what that means quick get the on the couch experts on to it.

I think it odd that Ziggy escaped totally untouched by the whole thing about nominating. Ziggy is not very nice, a manipulator and sly.
I don't know why Amy was booed she did nothing wrong really. |

According Sigmund Freud, they weren't just innocent gestures but the result of the operations of unconcious wishes or conflicts that could be used to reveal the functioning of the unconscious in the normal, healthy individual. Commonly referred to as the Freudian slip. If you do apply Freud's theory, maybe the tone of the conversation (with Kara) would give you a clue as to Liam's real feelings for/attitude towards Amy? |
