Paris Hilton set to appear in 'Celebrity Big Brother'
Paris Hilton is being lined up to appear in the next series of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The hotel heiress, who starred in her own reality show 'The Simple Life', is rumoured to be in talks with TV bosses to enter Britain's 'Big Brother' house early next year.

A Channel 4 insider said: "Paris is really keen to do the show because she wants to show people the real her.

"She wants to show the British public that there is more to her life than shopping and partying and she would certainly make an interesting housemate.

"It all depends on whether or not we can afford her."

Paris, 26, recently spent 23 days behind bars for driving with a suspended licence.

When she was freed from jail she vowed to change her lifestyle for the better promising, "The world will see a new Paris Hilton."

Wow - thanks for the interesting news there.

Well, it'd certainly be interesting in the sense that we'd be much closer to knowing what Paris is really like. But it would be extremely difficult to get someone like her on a show like CBB; despite everything, Paris is very well-known across the world and whether she'd choose to do something like this or not would be a big step, I'd have thought. There's likely to be plenty of rumours before the show airs in January, although up until then I've learnt not to trust many rumours, whatever their source!

Isn't there rumours almost every year of Paris doing it? I don't think the producers would manage to talk someone that famous into doing it. Thanks for posting the article anyway.

I don't think Paris has ever been rumoured before.. not sure though.

I'm not sure if she'd even do it anyway. It would either make or break her.. would be so ineresting though. But I'm not getting my hopes up!

I think it'd be fairly interesting - from what I know, she seems to be a fairly nice, but vaccous person, so it could give people a more positive opinion of her.
