Default X Factor not as good this year

Does anyone else think X Factor isnt as good this year?I think its got to predictable and i think it will be hard to find a better singer than Leona. I really like Fearne and Dermot but I just find all the sob stories really annoying now.

Does anyone agree or am I just wierd?

I like the auditions. The psychos are hysterical but then again when the live weeks start they bring out the real talent. October seems so far away but it is only 4 weeks!!!!!!

My Dad said the other day the X factor is pretty much over because you wont find a contestant better than Leona now, and we will forever be comparing the contestants to Leona.
I completely agree with that.

But its been funny. Judges houses/live shows will be better

The sob stories thing is annoying me too. It's not that I wouldn't feel sorry for them or anything, but it's really not necessary. I'm sure the producers probably ask certain people lots of questions to get the sob story out of them, but there are also some who are probably happy to tell their sob story to anyone who'll listen.

I've only been really impressed by one audition so far (they had a sob story too but putting that aside they were still fantastic). Last year I was impressed by a lot more people in just a few episodes, who just walked in and did it, no sob stories or anything.

Give it a **** chance!!! It has only just started - Leona was okay...Just!! But the auditions are my favourite part and I am sure that we haven't seen anything yet? Things will improve and the show has loaaaaaaddddds to go yet - so just wait and stop moaning - time will tell and Dannii is there - what more could you want?? and Simon is sooooooooo the same as usual. We wouldn't want him any other way now, would we?
