There was nothing wrong with Chilltown saying 'he was the first black winner', because it's true. He didn't offend Brian because of his colour. I didn't see the fuss.

As far as I know he is only the second Black housemate (first male) and first ever intruder to win in the 165 Big Brother's that have aired around the globe. So yeah it is pretty huge and I think was the most shocking outcome I have ever seen for winner. I couldn't believe that it wasn't the twins since they were such huge favorites and it was much better because I was watching it on a live stream online, instead of reading about it first.
