If you want to talk to Lauren only, send her messages it's better.

School is a huge amount of pressure, especially if you're in a year when your final exams really matter.
Don't let it get to you because you'll just be making things worse for yourself, try to make a list or a timetable for yourself so you can get things done in a normal amount of time, and so you can have time for yourself.
Being organised will really help you.
If you're struggling with your work load, speak to your teachers about.

Yes if you think badly, you will always feel bad. Think about the good points, you will find yourself in those ones. School is hard, we all know that but it's not the end of the world, there are more bad things in the world than that trust me.
Just be optimistic, think "zen and good" and everything will be alrite.

Think that school is just a trial on your path towards your dream.
If you work hard, do your best, you'll get what you want.
You'll have pressure throughout your whole life so it will be good for you if you can learn how to deal with it now so that it isn't as hard for you later on in life

That's probably a lot of people's dream (If they are playing well!)
School is never easy. I hated senior school but loved my primary school as I had some teachers. Have you got mentors at your school? It is just a thought however, I would have thought that mentors are there to help students just like you who are having real difficulties. You should not be struggling at the beginning of the year like this and need to talk to someone who can physically deal with the problem. I know you've found a friendly ear in Lauren and I bet that helps but it sounds like your school needs to help you now.

Keep letting off steam, we've all been there.

Why don't you make a thread for this kind of stuff. If you excpect school to be bad before you go it will be bad. ut if you turn up with a positive attitude the day will go a lot faster and you will enjoy it more an learn more in the process. Try and take one day at a time and concentrate on now not the future. I hope it gets better for you.

Surely, your school should give you help and adivse - they did with me - I tried not to worry and did excellent in my exams - i found out that a friend of a friend studied religously and she got really bad (and failed some) Exams

Flavlav being unhappy at school is awful, but if it is this bad for you then you really need to speak to someone about it. Speak to a teacher that you feel you can trust, a parent, even a friends parent if that is easier but talk to someone. If you dont feel able to talk to any of those people then can I suggest that you try this website www.connexions-direct.com they have trained advisers who can support you with this. They are a lovely lot of people and everything you say to them is confidential and you dont even have to give them your real name, best of all you can talk to them via either web chat, email, msn or telephone which gives you lots of options to decide what you feel comfortable with.
