from heatworld Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are just two of the stars whose homes are now on the frontline of the California wildfires. X Files star David Duchovny and his family have ignored pleas to evacuate their Malibu home as wildfires continue to tear through South California – threatening the multimillion dollar mansions of a long list of Hollywood celebs. Although firefighters said Duchovny is “safe for now,” wildfires in California are still threatening the homes of some of the world’s most famous stars. As California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger visited stricken Malibu and declared a state of emergency in seven counties, Titanic director James Cameron, Olivia Newton-John and Star Wars’ Mark Hamill were forced to evacuate. Mansions belonging to Mel Gibson, Cindy Crawford and Barbara Streisand are also in the firepath, and Promises Rehab Centre – where Britney stayed earlier this year – has also transferred patients to other centres. |

Ouch, I hope no damage comes to the homes, but i don't think anything will be as bad as the damage to Hodge Castle, a nice residence with Elvis memorabilia, all gone.
