Double whammy for X Factor?

wo contestants could see their X Factor dreams shattered this weekend, if rumours of a double eviction are to be believed.

Simon Cowell apparently called a meeting with the show's producers where they decided to increase the pressure on the remaining 10 acts, reports the Daily Star.

But a spokeswoman for the show refused to comment on how many hopefuls would get the boot, saying: "We're not confirming anything."

If the double eviction goes ahead, it could mean curtains for Sharon Osbourne's act Alisha Bennett, who was in the bottom two for the second week running on Saturday, but survived when Over 25 Daniel De Bourg was sent packing by Simon.

The paper quoted a source as saying: "It's really going to put the cat among the pigeons. It's a bold move to do it so early in the series but Simon felt the gang needed a shock to make them work even harder. There will certainly be a lot more tension now."

And if Sharon's acts are all gone by Week 4, then it's her fault for choosing rubbish ones tbh. She had such promise in the likes of Stephanie, Analisa, Victoria, and Kimberley was wasted (although Analisa wasn't just her decision).

Paddy Power have Emily & Alisha as faves to be eliminated this week. However, that might change after Saturday.

they is the judges, if its anything like last year, the person with the lowest votes will go, then the botom 2 will be decided by the judges. No way will both Alisha and Emily be leaving
