They are not great. They are just starting out and are very very new. They weren't even a group before the show started but they are good and there is a lot of promise there with the right management.

I think they'll pull off Hurt, especially if it's not just Phoebe singing lead vocals. They could easily have Leah doing lead vocals, she's just as talented as Phoebe. I think they're great, personally.

they are dreadful at the moment, because of Phoebe, the little girl who they are giving false hope that she is very good! She cant sing in tune, they need to hide those shortcomings and sing harmonies!

I think that is grossly unfair on Phoebe, she is only 16, and she didn't run away from carrying the whole act. She has a wonderful voice that just needs coaching and developing. She saved hope last night in the public vote single handedly.

I think they have the potential to do well in the charts and have a long-term career out of it in the future, even if they don't get close to winning the show. If they're not finalists then I think they will come pretty close, maybe 3rd or 4th place overall.

They are ok, (IMO) they can sing, not the best, but I have seen worse, and there are worse in the charts now. Phoebe is a really good singer.

Phoebe was bad last night, and thats why they were in the bottom 2. She was out of tune the whole way couldnt pull off that Cristina song. And as for the others, well all they did was ooh and aahs, so that song falls solely on Phoebe's shoulders. And if she was good, she was gonna get the votes. The problem with hope right now is they relagated everyone else to backup singers, so now we are all judging Phoebe. When they were singing harmonies together they were quite good I thought. ey did Umbrella, that was their best song, and they all were singing. Phoebe is 16, but we are judging her on stage with the others, regardless of their age, and my point exactly is her voice is not mature enough to lead or be a solo artist. Mazybe in a few years but she is not ready, proven last night!

Well she clearly wasn't the worse in the eyes of the public. Bev was the one the public kicked off. Most 16 year olds wouldn't have the guts to get on the stage let alone sing to an audience of 8 million or so.

Okay she might have been a bit out of tune in places but so are the Spice Girls and they have sold millions of records. In fact from what I have read recently Hope are far far better than most of the girl bands out there at the moment, especially live.

Well that what they were told to do. That's what their producer wanted them to do. You can't blame the group for the production of the song.

Like said above she did get the public votes and that why Bev went and Hope is still in the competition.

Well that is a problem in the way they are being produced and something Simon needs to sort out. It's not really the groups problem. They didn't have any choice in who produced them.

We at least we can agree on this point Phoebe does need further coaching for a solo career. However people are judging her on her age by calling her a "little girl" if they weren't they wouldn't have belittled her by using such a term.

OK!, well this is exactly my point. I think them putting Phoebe forward as the lead is the reason why they end up in the bottom 2 every week now! IN the first few weeks, I thought they were the best group, and top 4 overall. Now, they dont seem to be a group anymore. They have an average girl leading them, and I dont consider her age, because she is in the competition, age doesnt matter now! BUt clearly Hope is better off with Phoebe sharing the luimelight, not hogging it, she is not good enough!! As for Beverley, like I said on another thread, she wasnt great, but opening the show hurt her. Hope got all the viewers, but ended up in the bottom 2 again! That tells me, the public dotn like the Phoebe solo act!

They're crap.
Or at least.
4 of them are.

How could they improve?
Drop the other four and let Phoebe go solo.

I thought Lea was the best of the lot too. Thats why I am pissed at the producers for messing up the Hope act. Watch their first 2 performances, and see how Lea is featured a bit more, they were great, and I was a big fan. But they screwed it all up with this whole Phoebe hype!

surely, if they were THAT good, then they'd have been given a chance to showcase their talent.

Okay, so crap was the wrong choice of words, but I was quoting the poll.

But yeah, I haven't seen anything great from the other four at all.

Fair enough, but I don't agree.

What I see is people are blaming Phoebe unfairly for the mistakes made on production of the songs. Simon clearly feels Phoebe has the talent to carry the band unless he is trying to fix it so they don't win!

If people feel that Phoebe isn't good enough they should acknowledge that Simon has a part to play in how the songs are produced and the singers coached rather picking on an individual singer.

I am totally not blaming Phoebe. She is what she is. I am blaming the people who decided to feature her, its definitely not her fault!

Well lets hope they more use of the rest of the group next week and they can avoid going out 5th in the public vote.

Simon says he plans to make more of the other members of group. If he gets the production right they could back to the form they showed at the start of the competition.
