I\'m a Celeb ... get me upstairs
Quote:
I'm a Celeb ... get me upstairs I’M A Celebrity’s Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman share a tender kiss yesterday after spending the night together - in the first snap that shows they are now a couple.
The pair, who flirted non-stop on the ITV1 hit, embraced outside a country pub and looked like they were in the mood for more loving.
The previous night they had enjoyed a candlelit meal before slipping up to bed early at a secluded hotel.
Their romantic date follows Marc’s split with Sarah Matravers, 33, who watched him fall for divorced mum Cerys on telly.
He flew back to London two weeks ago to confront furious Sarah while Cerys, 38, came back last weekend, after her jungle exit.
On Thursday the pair finally had their first date at £120-a-night Llys Meddyg hotel in Newport, Pembrokeshire.
It is near Cerys’s home, which is called Pen Pant Trwyn SHAG.
Onlookers said they were very “touchy-feely” as Marc ate Welsh lamb shanks and Cerys tucked into fillets of bream — washed down with a £25 bottle of white wine.
The couple went up to bed at 9pm, and Marc emerged at 8am the next day to ask for breakfast in their room.
Just after noon Cerys’s brother Richard picked up the beaming pair in a gleaming black sports car.
He drove to a side entrance — where guests are not normally allowed — and got Cerys to lie down on the back seat while Marc sat in the front next to him.
The couple were driven 15 miles to The Ship pub in Trefin village for lunch. Afterwards they were spotted outside sharing a cigarette, a kiss and a cuddle.
Cerys — trying to hide under sunglasses — could not stop grinning as she locked lips with her man.
Besotted Marc had arrived in west Wales on Tuesday so the ex-Catatonia singer could introduce him to her children Glenys, four, and Johnny, two.
He also met her parents Phillip and Pauline Matthews, who live with them in a farmhouse.
