But I'm not sure if I want him to win. I feel as though the X factor will just turn him into another Paul Potts (like we need another) He's got so much potential but X Factor will take him down the cover albums route. I think he'd be great going down a Josh Groban route (classical voice mixed with contemporary sounds) Which is possible but not likely. Another route he could be great at is a Nightwish route (operatic sounds mixed with rock) Which he could be very good at but He wouldn't be able to go down that route since it doesn't mesh with the X Factor image.
I think Rhydian is better then a cheap cover album, which winning the X factor will provide so I don't think he should win, let him get a contract on his own terms....I think. So what's your opinion? |

I dislike opera and it belongs in the Opera House and not on ITV and defiantly not on the X Factor.

However wise an opinion that may be, fans don't tend to think about things in the long term when it comes to voting for a winner. Furthermore, Rhydian himself would really want to win as winning a big show like TXF is such an achievement. Nobody tends to think about the consequences.
Whilst I would like to see him win for the reasons I mentioned, I don't think he's cut out for doing just cover albums for the next year. At the same time though the choice doesn't lie within Rhydian's control at all: it's something the show needs to take into consideration, which it clearly isn't. |
