Jackson shows off Post-it look

MICHAEL JACKSON goes Christmas shopping looking as if his face is held together with Post-it notes.

The one-time King of Pop resembled a horror movie extra - prompting fresh speculation he’s gone under the knife AGAIN.

Beat It singer Jacko, 49, tried his best to hide his thin white face with dark glasses, a fishing hat and a scarf while out in Las Vegas.

But the former global sex symbol couldn’t conceal the strips of sticky paper plastered around his mouth.

A spokesman for Jackson could not explain the singer’s bizarre appearance while late-night shopping with his three kids, but denied he’d had surgery.

Top UK plastic surgeon Alex Karidis, 45, said: “He looks extremely strange, almost as if he’s cut himself shaving.

“The plasters look really haphazard. It’s very, very odd.

“The only plastic surgery that might remotely require dressings around the lips is laser treatment to get rid of lines and creases.

“But that is really for people over 55 and he’s not old enough. I can’t imagine what other procedure would require plasters like this.”

Mr Karidis, based at St John’s Wood, North London, added: “It’s as if he’s done it just to get noticed. Why else go out looking like that? It screams, ‘Look at me’.”

Jacko did grab plenty of attention as he walked around a Barnes & Noble bookstore on Sunday night.

With him were his kids, Prince, ten, Paris, nine, and Blanket, five.

Squinting Jacko held his reading glasses in hand, at times using them back to front, as he wandered around clasping a book on dragons.

He wore a parka-style green coat, baggy trousers and slip-on shoes.

An onlooker said: “He shuffled around with all these plasters on his face with his kids trailing behind. He looked like the invisible man.”

Jacko spent THREE HOURS in the store and left with crates full of books and magazines.


Jacko has been reclusive since he beat child molestation charges in 2005. He has been living in gambling capital Las Vegas, Nevada, for a year, after 18 months travelling the globe.


Back in the 80s, the then handsome Jacko was the world’s most famous pop star and his Thriller album in 1982 was the biggest of all time, selling 104 million copies.

Experts say it appears as if he’s undergone more than six operations since, something the star denies.

He admits to minor work on his nose to help him breathe and blames his pale complexion on vitiligo, which destroys skin cells and can lead to white patches.

He is said to be planning a JACKSON FIVE reunion with his brothers. Face it Jacko, it’s a long shot.
