Leon! Leon's debut single has topped the Irish chart, despite not much air-play on Irish radio. Many Dublin stations were campaigning to get The Pogues number 1 for Xmas, but they only managed to snatch 3rd. Leon, Leona & Shayne are all in the Top 5. 1. Leon Jackson "When You Believe" 2. Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love" 3. The Pogues "Fairytale Of New York" 4. Shayne Ward "Breathless" 5. Timberland ft. One Republic "Apologize" 6. Brendan Grace "The Safe Cross Code" 7. Westlife "Home" 8. Cascada "What Hurt's The Most" 9. Soulja Boy Tell Em' "Crank That" 10. Mariah Carey "All I Want For Christmas"

Just goes to show how powerful the X Factor is. I was looking on iTunes a couple of hours ago for Rhydian's single. It was in the album chart for some reason like Leon's and it was number 47 yesterday, while Leon's single was at number 1, and now it's not even in the the top 100. Maybe I missed it but it has fallen a lot in the last 24 hours if I haven't.

Well done Leon! And he's guaranteed #1 in the UK too, I'm glad for him because he doesn't deserve all the backlash he is getting so at least he knows that people are supporting him too.
