I would have loved to have seen Jeremy or Anthony doing it. John became very lazy afterwards because he knew he couldn't be nominated. The task instantly installed him into public favour, so I do think it played a big part in his victory. It is hard to say how it would have affected other housemates, but it would probably have dramatically increased their chances of winning.
