For the record, Leona was not in the french Top50 before, it's a new entry and she hit the ranking.

Yeah we have later releases. Leona's album was released in March there and her music video since half february.
However it doesn't mean Leona selled a lot of cds because the music french industry does not sell cds as it used to, it dropped a lot.
But still well done to her, it's kinda huge what she did, she was nowhere before and now she's number 1.

Leona released BL everywhere outside the UK & Ireland this year.for some reason she left France wayy longer then Italy,Germany and most other countries in Europe but it obviously worked.

Im not talking about nationality. Im making general reference to the fact that in ANY country , one #1 bears little signifigance , because crap acts and one hit wonders have hit the top spot in the past. Longevity is what counts. Im not denying anything , so just stop being such an absoloute zealot for this one celebrity and leave people to their opinions.

Im not saying anyone has to like Leona I like her cd spirit and most of the songs, mainly her singles lol.

Yeah I know lol , its cool.

The reason why im upset is that people seem to think that because she has had one #1 , she is like , the second coming. Point im trying to make is that ANYBODY can go to #1 at least once. Look at all the novelty acts and one hit wonders that have existed before.

Longevity is the key. Im not saying she wont , but lets not go saying ''OMFG go Leona yay she conquered XD'' until she has churned out a few more hits and another few albums in the coming years.
