I have been re-watching BB7 over the past few weeks, in small doses.

During 2006 I was extremely anti-Aislyne, so I was shocked when this time around I came out supporting Aisleyne in the end. Obviously I knew the results but rewtching it, there are stuff you miss out on first time around and a few years on you have different opinions of people.

Re-watching BB7 I know have a new found respect for her. She really did go through some rough times while she was there and she made the most of it.

She isn't my fave ever housemate, and not even my fave from BB7 but I really like her now.

If I could go back in time, I'd love for the final to have played out as...

6th; Pete
5th; Richard
4th; Nikki
3rd; Jennie
2nd; Aisleyne
1st; Glyn

Although, Jennie & Nikki are my faves from BB7. I dont think Nikki should have won as she was evicted for 4 weeks, and Jennie was a great girl and a good housemate IMO but Aisleyen & Glyn made me want to watch more.

I have been re-watching BB7 too before BB8 started and I really did not see why she is so loved. Sure I respect people who like her but why ? I can't find anything entertaining in her.
And I agree for Jennie, she was really funny, hot and wicked.

Aisleyne was a brilliant housemate. She did go through some rough patches in there. When she first arrived Sezer and Grace tried to pick on her, she spoke up against Grace and Lisa after the water incident, had to deal with Lea and Nikki becoming paranoid about her and Pete, had to cope with bitchy Jayne and slimy Spiral's advances.

She wasn't perfect when she went in as she had an attitude problem and a harsh image but as the series progressed she mellowed out. She become less 'Ghetto Princess' and wore less heavy makeup. The difference between her on the audition tape and at the final week was staggering.
The BB experience changed her for the better and it was a genuine change as Judy James said so on BBBB and she can't be fooled. Aisleyne should have won instead of the fake housemate who did.

I disagree Jennie never deserved her place in the final week of BB7 by winning a free pass in a Board Game Twist. I found her a rather sulky and bad tempered person if she didn't get her own way in the house and showed her immaturity when she became jealous and possessive over Aisleyne's growing friendship with Imogen. I am convinced that Jennie knew who were the most popular HMs on the outside before she entered the HND, which is why she started flirting outrageously with Pete and Glyn within days of entering the main house (even though she had a boyfriend waiting for her outside!! ) and by sticking close to those two front runners she knew she could ride their coat tails all the way to the final.

I also never believed for one minuite her claim about being a "Geezer bird" who hated all "Girlie girls" when in reality she worked P/T in a Beauty parlour and was desperate to become a Beauty Queen herself and pose in Lad mags(?). I thought this was just another tactic on her part to separate herself from the other females in the house who had earned a bad press early on for their bitchiness. I think what sealed my view of Jennie was the way she turned against Aisleyne to side with Richard in the last few weeks and nominated her on two occasions, even though she still slept in the same bed as Aisleyne all the way through to the end of BB7.

I just recently watched this season for the first time, and I went through stages with Aisleyne. I really couldn't stand her at first, but I really started to like her a lot during the week that she was nominated and ended up in the secret house.

Thats how I was with Aisleyne. The first two weeks I didndt really like her, except when she was giving it to grace. But she was horrible with Sam. But then after that I loved her throughout. she was legendary. And I liked how during nominations, she worked the other housemates really well. And even those who wanted to nom her, changed their minds. She was great!

I dunno if I could re-watch all of BB7, but I've been watching a few random clips on youtube lately. They were enough to change my mind. I now really hate Pete, love Aisleyne and Grace, and love Nikki even more

I always loved Aisleyne, ever since Day 12 when she entered. I'm in the minority but I preferred her pre-HND, mainly because she was overly-real. However, I still loved her afterwards and voted for her 20 times to win. How did Pete win that series, he did nothing and was boring as batshit?

I liked her pre-HND too, but events on the show seemed to wear her down. Best HM ever.
