BB5 - Because of the major changes to the show and the great set of housemates.

BB6 - Great set of housemates and the brilliant launch night twist with MAKOSI.

Out of all the launches I've seen (have only been watching properly since CBB4), I would say the best were CBB4 and BB7.

BB8's launch was so awful. It didn't feel like an event at all, and it didn't seem like the producers put much effort into it. The house was rubbish, the garden was depressing which wasn't helped by the miserable weather, everything looked cheap. Hardly anything was well thought out and there wasn't enough HM's on the night, and they were all female. The twist was rubbish and to top it off by the time the house tour was done it started to get very, very boring.

Big Brother 7. It started out as probably the best looking series ever. The first two or three weeks were really , really optimistic.

The most dissapointing launch was Big Brother 8. It felt like watching a sinking ship. The show just got worse and worse as it went along.

Difficult to call - BB6 certainly stands out with Makosi's mission, and it hasn't been bettered since.

I think also BB4 is worth a mention too. The first show may have been stripped back with no crowd and a low key atmosphere, but I think sometimes that's a good thing. I loved the opening 10 second countdown - again very simple, but very effective, and also the first night nominations twist in the second show of the evening - at a time where such a twist really was a shocker.

BB5 [All change]
BB6 [Davina was hot, slick launch with everything timed well, good mix of housemates as well]
BB7 [Brilliant, excellent opening line and a wonderful launch throughout]
BB8 [Enjoyed it last year but just watched it back and its really poor in places]
