Default bb\'s BIG ad campaign

At 18:15 on the music channel "The Hits" there was a BB advert, it was the ad with marcus bentley and the launch date. This just shows that C4 are going all out to advertise BB9

Nice to know they are advertising on other channels but they should be advertising on bigger channels like ITV1 not to a few thousand people on The Hits

A 30 second advertising spot for the Champions League was about Ł250,000, BGT will get similar ratings. I don't know if they would pay Ł250,000 for 30 seconds

The Hits is a channel owned by Channel 4 so its no surprise really. The adverts have been on all day and The Hits will be rebranded as 4Music later in 2008.

This is due to the very simple fact that The Hits is a Channel 4 company! In fact, I have read that it will be rebranded 4Music in the future. No big surprises really.

The Hits belongs to channel 4 as already posted and ITV isn't really going to advertise another Broadcasting companies TV shows and channel 4 wouldnt even consider it... besides its quite ,misleading BB coming soon to channel 4 but your watching ITV, what??!!
i have never ever seen a show from another channel advertised on a competitors channel, its like asking Sony playstation to advertise X-box.. just isn't going to happen

I agree.... C4/ ITV certainly dont have harmonious relationships... they ain't gonna pump up each others shows!! Imagine seeing an advert for BGT or X Factor on C4!!!

Maybe... Im not British so I dont know fo-sho'!!! It just seems very funny! Anyway... the point is Hits is owned by C4. That said, it is good that C4 are extending their adverts across all of their channels!

Channels use other channels to advertise all the time. However there are a couple of regulations. Programme advertisments must be in the block of adverts, not within the channels own show promos and they cannot say what time/date its on. They just have to put "coming soon".

They do it all the time. C4 have done it with Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money and Big Brother Celebrity Hijack.

A few extended eye flashes would work great during BGT, they don't say the time/date anyway and there will be a few adverts so more people will see and take notice of them which are at the same cost of one big advert.
