the press really does seem pessimistic about bb9
i think it all changed after shilpa-gate big brother needs to tell the public that it has changed or we'll end up with another bb6 - good show, bad ratings |

I hope that doesn't happen; BB6 was immense and BB9 will be the same.
However people watching C4 have like a 85% chance of seeing an AD for it so that'll boost the ratings. I do see what you mean though. Not that many articles this year; just odd snippets. x |

CBB5 gave a reason for the press to be pessimistic but i dont think they've ever loved the show (apart from The Daily Star).
Its like marmite. You either love it or loathe it. And think about who these people are who edit these papers. Busy people who probably dont watch the show. And if you dont watch it, you form a strange stereotype about it that it is a bad show. And anyhow, no publicity is bad publicity. Its only spreading the word that the show is coming. |

I don't blame them - BB8 was such a let-down. It was carcrash television, but I'm expecting more from the show this year.
