TX: Highlights show, 9pm Sunday 15th June, 2008

Big Brother would like to give housemates an opportunity to learn a new skill during their stay in the house so today they will all learn to play a musical instrument.

Once housemates have chosen their musical instrument, they will be expected to stick with that instrument for their remaining time in the house.

Periodically, housemates will be given one hour with their instrument during which they must learn and rehearse When the Saints Go Marching In.

Housemates will be provided with simple instructions on how to play their chosen instrument. At the end of the hour today, housemates will come together as the Big Brother Orchestra and perform the piece as one.

The housemate who declares themselves the "most musical housemate" when requested by Big Brother, will be the Conductor of the Big Brother Orchestra.

That's a pretty cool task, actually. I can't recall a task that's ever been a series-long type thing. At least now the housemates can walk away from BB and actually say that they have learned something. Well, that is if they put any effort into it.
