My friends mum is a doctor and i was round her house on Sunday, we were talking about Alexandra in BB9. My friend's mum thinks Alex suffers from Bipolar Disorder. I didn't know what it was until she explained it to me.

No. I have a friend who does, and Alex most certainly does not.

I honestly think she's just hot headed.
Bi Polar usually isn't categorised by simply angry -> happy. It has many other foundations, but Alex only seems to show the mood swing. |

I don't think she suffers from any medical conditions.
Her 'mood swings' seem to be carefully timed depending on the situation she happens to be in, which is something those that suffer from bipolar disorder cannot control. I find her to be quite calculating and manipulative, so it's as if her malicious intentions are carried out precisely when she chooses for them to surface. |

I don't think she is.Bi-Polar seems to involve deep depression in most cases, that's something that I don't really see from Alex. She just loses her temper incredibly quickly and once she's released that anger, she just goes back to being fairly calm.

As someone who has bi-polar I would hate to think I behaved in the same way that Alex does! She has complete control over her mood swings, she does not appear manic at all, she is able to switch on and off at will which you just cant do when you are bi-polar.

I agree. Bi-polar people usually swing from manically happy/active/talkative/upbeat to a state of insular dark depression and unhappiness for no obvious reason. I don't think it's an anger/bad temper thing. Alex is just incredibly rude and full of her own importance and likes people to fear her. Her outbursts always have a cause and a target. She decides, and appears to be very much in control of her mouth and her actions.

i dont think its down to medical conditions ,coz even ppl with medical conditions they dont simply put ppl down like tht, expecially the way she emotionaly hurt bex the other day, alex knows exactly what shes doing so i think its just attitude issues, and the simple reason of " i know more than u do" syndrome

Theres no way she's Bi-Polar. As Sunny says she seems to be in control of herself all the time. I think she may be a mild sociopath. I'm not kidding. She does have some sociopathic tendencies - She enjoys hurting people, she's self centred, manipulative, devious, treacherous and unscrupulous. A psychologist could make a lot of money from analysing her. She's a landmark case.
