Why does channel 4 get away with calling it "Live" what's with the trade descriptions act?

What else are they going to call it? Big Brother: Almost Live
Anyway, there's only a short delay.

At least 15 minutes is not really what you'd call short. and when they use tape loops is that also live? and Yes why NOT say "almost Live" would be almost true!

Yeah, I see what you mean, but they have no other choice but to delay the live feed. Anyway, I don't mind that it's not 100% live and I don't think that most people are either.

My point is that it is not transmitted "Live" but they are allowed to call it live.
Technology is such that they can broadcast with a few seconds delay for censorship. Channel 4 use the Delay to deny the public any kind of view of what is actually happening. If somethingh happens that they don't want you to see they can easily cut to a tape that is innocuous!

It's splitting hairs really. All live feeds have a delay, BB are just abusing that factor to cover their arses for offensive footage and footage which might be too entertaining for the losers who watch the live feed.
