Default This has to stop

Every year the public votes out the most entertaining housemates, then complain when the show gets boring. They never sem to learn from their mistakes in previous series. It really annoys me.

Lisa, who has provided us with barely any entertainment was up for eviction in week 1, yet Steph went. Steph done more in that week than Lisa will do in the whole series. Lisa isn't likely to be nominated again in a hurry, and was only up in the first place because they failed their secret mission. At any oppurtunity the dull housemates are up, we should evict them because who knows when they will next be up? It happened last year with Carole and Tracey. They were up in the first eviction with Shabnam then Billi the next (who both went) and they sailed through for a couple of months without being nominated. The same will happen for Lisa, Mohammed etc.

It's bad enough with the boring housemates not being nominated (Rachel) so when they are we should seize the oppurtunity.

This year's BB has almost already ran out of momentum due to big characters going and it's got a massive 9 weeks left.

It makes me angry that the audition process is intended to find dynamic interesting people. And the ones which are exactly that are evicted within a few weeks which almost makes the effort of the auditions pointless.

The only "entertaining" housemates that's gone is Dennis.
Jennifer isn't entertaing and all Alex did was moan and spoil the fun, so I think you're wrong.

I'm not talking about Jennifer because she hasn't been evicted (yet). And Alex and Dennis were removed, so wasn't down to the public. Obviously it's down to personal preference who you find entertaining but I think Steph and Sylvia were potentially stars of the series.

Sylvia was potentially the most entertaining housemate but I think Steoh was dull and boring.

I totally agree. People can easily see from the series, Steph done more in 9 days than Mario or Lisa have done in 25

It never will change while it's vote to evict. The majority will always vote to get rid of people they don't like rather than someone boring.

You cant blame the British public. They vote out the people they hate. Thats the point of the show , and the voting system. Their not obsessed fans/seers who look ahead to the future before choosing to dial a number.

But the Public Hate Jen
due to that Fight
and the day after.
She got control over two men Stu/Dale
When a housemate gets that Evil
they will go.

And Jen is so down
she is a waste of space.

Jen Goes Friday
hard to bet on it
as the betting shops Know she is going.

I'm not an obsessed fan, far from it. I can just emotionally detach myself from how I feel for a housemate in favour of entertainment.

I don't
actually care
if Jen goes
because I think
Rex is
equally entertaining
as her. And I
think we may see a different side to
some of the other housemates (i.e. Bex)
if she goes.

I do agree to an extent about keeping the entertaining HM's in. I have disliked many in the past but wanted them to stay in because it was funny (Charley, Makosi, Jason etc) but I think when you're watching the show and actually getting irritated it's a different story (Jennifer, Dennis...)

Endemol has the Key
to spice it up.

Tasks and people going in.

They could send in from the garden the Blu Meanie
in - out fast.

Endemol holds the Key.

Housemates should make the series, not uninspired twists thought up by the producers.

We need new housemates, only because so many big characters have gone.

Two peoples definition of entertaining completely differ.

To you, the most entertaining and likely to make fun in the house are leaving. Bad times.

To me, the people who make me want to uppercut my screen are leaving. Good times.

I dont think it's that big an issue. Each series seems to survive the big characters going.

I was trying to think of a good topic on this subject but it was going to be more along the line of - Do people prefer big characters dominating the show or do they prefer to observe the group dynamic. I prefer the latter so I'm not sad or concerned or even bothered about any particular HM leaving the show.

Erm not really, please don't speak on behalf of me.

Steph was fun. Sylvia was fun. Housemates like Lisa just want to go to bed early and fondle Mario and pick his spots. Not my idea of entertaining.

I used to say this but at the end of the day, Lauren is spot on.

When Nikki was evicted i was like WHAT ITS A TRAVESTY, but some people didnt like Nikki, hense why she was evicted.

If they are evicted- the majority of the public dont want them there. So therefore they 'deserve' to be evicted.

Its a part of BB- and sometimes it makes it even more entertaining because we get juicy interviews at the beginning.

You say it's a part of Big Brother but I can never remember it being this bad. It's as though the public find someone to hate for the sake of it. Evictions used to be really excited and ceremonious, mainly due to the fact that you couldn't predict who was going to go. Now they're are just boring.

Entertaining people always go. It depends on how you define entertainment

I think Sam should have stayed over Roberto in BB6
I think Kinga should have been evicted instead of Craig
I think Michelle should have stayed over Jason
I think Nikki should have stayed in BB7

But whats the point in complaining about it?
I used to- but Im over it.

Big Brother always finds a way of making the series an entertaining one to watch.

True, but people do have a right to complain about it. Like you said everyone's definition of entertainment is different.

"Big Brother always finds a way of making the series an entertaining one to watch."

Did you watch BB8?
