i have never posted on a big brother forum before but this question has always bugged me, what problem exactly do girls have with other girls on BB?? and when i mean girls i have to say that for some reason it does only tend to apply to the real pretty ones, for example Stephanie is the latest housemate who was evicted very early on for no apparant reason other than being blessed with good looks, is it a jealousy thing or what as i genuinely do not understand it.

god knows. speaking for my kind I have never had a problem with female hm's unless they are complete cows but even them I find entertaining eg Saskia and Grace. I would definately prefer one of the two males hm's to be evicted tonight.

I think the reason Steph went has nothing to do with looks was that she didnt try her best in the wedding task. I think if she didnt have to do that task she would still be in as she is a real cool girl.

I dont see that looks come into it it is the personality of the individual. In case of Jen she is a pretty girl but too up her own arse and self centred which is why she got evicted.

yeah agree jen was entrely because of that, but it always seems that good looking girls do not do well in BB, and given the fact that it is mainly the female population that vote there has to be a valid explanation for this, and to be fair considering the poor girl had to have that italian wannabe sleezeball letching over her i think she did a good job at that task

I don't think Steph did well on the wedding task at all. It doesn't matter if hes a 40 year old man, its not like anyone was asking her to make out with him. You gotta be prepared to do anything when your on Big Brother.

ok well thats a matter of opinion and is going off subject, i just used her as an example, the hot girl is always one of the 1st to go in every series, it surely can't be a coincedence EVERY year, i am sure that for some reason girls tend to just take a disliking to other girls quicker than they do blokes

I have no idea, its annoying me every week a girl is evicted, i seriously wont be watching if rebecca goes tonight she is the only girl left in there that i have any sort of respect for.

its usually if a new housemate comes in , one of the girls are usually pretty and the normal girl housemate gets jealous

its obviously not all women and if you think thats what i meant then i apologise for that, but there must be a large proportion of women that do feel like this, in years gone by i have often wondered what a particular girl had done to be evicted so early and after thinking it through could come up with no reason other than she was good looking and for some reason some people disliked her for this, its crazy

steph cocked up on the wedding task she could of put in a lot of effort it dodnst matter if mario is 40 n old looking it would of saved her and for that reason i dont care she went cos shes didnt put on any effort and was just fair for the fame,, well what fame does she have now lol

It just so happens this year, producers chose girls with big personality's.

Okay, if we get psychological we can look at the differences between men & women in society.
Men are usually more passive/matey/competitive... females are usually emotional/bitchy/jealous. The traits aren't necessarily bad, but when we put them in the BB environment with close relationships, backstabbing friendships, challenging tasks - the best of the men come out, and the worst of the women.

It's nothing to do with being jealous. Men watch BB too, and dislike Steph as a HM.

as i said steph was just one example in a long list of good looking females that have been evicted by the majority voter in the uk (female aged early teen - oap) and there is no valid reason or excuse that i can see other than the fact that if someone is deemed to be good looking then they must automatically be presumed to love themselves or be nasty etc... when in many cases this is just not true

I just provided what I believe is a valid reason

My favourite housemate most years (including this one) has been female anyway.

Well that's where we part ways. You're leaving no window of deviation from your original viewpoint. You ask if/why women have a problem, but accept no other explanation than your own.

what happened with stef was that she acted v. bad and annoying during the wedding task so she accumulated a load of haters

but after the task she came out of her shell and she gained a load of fans

unfortunately it was too late in the week when she bacame popular and people had already voted her out, therefore it it didnt really have anything to do with her looks

now i could ask the same question to men, they all seem to hate dale and stu, and for what reason? and id any guy comes on and says cuz they're arrogant blah blah blah and we dont believe you and say 'no they're not, you just dont like them cuz they'tr good looking' then thats exactly how we women feel all the time when the same thing happens to us

I don't think it can just be based on looks because not so pretty Hm have been 1st out in previous years. I think it has more to do with girls wanting to watch guys/ liking guys more.
