Um, I think it was something to do with people trying to get to a certain milestone in posting, so they would "spam". So then the admin changed it to show every 5,000 posts so members wouldn't see their post counts all the time.

I think that was it anyway.

You tend to notice alot of newbies making stupid pointless posts so they can get to 500+
Then most of them give up haha. I went a bit crazy i suppose at one stage but i just didnt stop, now posting lots is just a habit haha.

That's really good for only being here 7 months! It took me nearly 3 years to get to 10,000!
