Michelle's hopes for a "romantic bath" were dashed by Stuart's bizarre refusal to put his arms into the water.

The lovelorn lady surveyed her stubborn bath mate with irritation. "I think your arms are not in the bath 'cos you don't want to be here," she said testily.

"No, no, no," Stuart reassured her, looking like an ungainly seabird about to take flight.

"Give me a good reason," demanded Michelle.

Stuart pled vanity saying that he didn't want to ruin his "first henna tattoo experience". (The housemates had applied henna tattoos to each other earlier in the evening).

This was Michelle's chance to show her vast knowledge in tattoo application. "Some people think that if you rewet it again it makes it stronger," she smirked.

"Even that doesn't work. The Vaseline creates a barrier between the skin and the water. The stain is already on your skin."

Faced with a lecture on the exact science of henna tattoos, Stuart still wasn't playing Michelle's game. "I believe you," he said. "I just don't want to do it."

"Do you really want to get another telling off?" demanded Michelle, fixing Stu with a particularly malevolent stare.

But Stuart seemed to relish the prospect of a scolding from Michelle. "You're so good at it," he teased.

Eventually Stuart threw caution to the wind and put his arms in the water.

"I'm sorry for shouting. I just wanted a nice romantic bath," Michelle murmured.

In the end, the bold brunette got her wish as she and Stuart frolicked in their double bubble bath.

This could be the couple's last night together in the House and perhaps it was on Michelle's mind that this was her last chance to get some love action with Stuart.

After their bath, they went to bed together for some more canoodling. But Michelle didn't have her wicked way with her newly smooth-cheeked lover.

After half an hour of wriggling and giggling, Michelle retreated to her own bed, leaving Stuart to his slumbers.
