Can you notice a trend in the amount of housemates walking in the last few years and the length of series increasing.
In the olden days we never had so many moaners or people wanting to leave, or walking etc etc. Now as each series gets longer more and more people are wanting to leave the house. Probably down to the disheartening thought that after weeks and weeks away from loved ones theyve still got another 5 weeks left to go!! Tensions must be at an alltime high! Also storylines start to grind to a halt as charaters run out of steam! Cut the series back down to 10 weeks next year. The perfect length for any series! |

I agree to a point , but they'd also have less housemates, which would mean war groups would not happen (groups that hate each other) becuase there is not enough time and people are evicted so numbers get low too quickly.
But i reckon that if that had happened this year (lasting 10 weeks) Kat and Darnell would of won, but now they have run out of steam (and Rex) and new things to entertain us with so their chances are slipping whereas the others Stu, sara, lisa, Mikey and Rachel are all finding themselves now all the attention is taken away from the loud and me, me , me ones (Kat, Darnell, Bex, Luke etc). |

They could also have pulled out before they went in so someone else who actually wants to be there could have had a chance. |

yeah i think 10-11 weeks is long enough. I was just saying to my aunty that we have another 4 weeks to go and im getting kinda tired of it. If it ended next week or week after i would be happier

I agree with the OP, 13 weeks is way too long. I'm already a bit bored of it, and there are still 4 weeks left. A weekday show or once-a-week show I could handle for 13 weeks, but a daily show, no way. Unless it's a soap, where it's planned. |

I think 9 and a half weeks would be perfect.

In the days of BB gone by, today would be the finale as today is 64 days (or 9 weeks, 1 day) since the series started.

Endemol have a Big Contract
I hope the next venture has Internet Live Feed as that brings in Millions as well. This Time Zone would be much better with harder 3 day tasks the New Young Endemol Temp Task staff are no good at there job. |

no, it's built up for 9 months and then it's only 3, which goes so quickly, it should be 4 months easily.

Well then they need to rethink the way the do things.
BB5's live satuday task was one of the best things about that series and set up the jeopardy of dwindling prize money. and food tasks that kast longer than two days woulkd be helpful. |

yes and also week long tasks where housemates had to learn things or compete in big activities.
I also think they need to revert back to the time when the housemates had to work to survive, like baking bread, looking after chickens and veg garden. |

I think it should be cut down by a few weeks, (2 or 3) as even i've lost a lot of interest.

I think it depends on the housemates, the last few years it has been 1/2 weeks too long. They seem to think putting in new people/second house livens it up but it usually makes it worse.

I think it's too long. I find myself dreading watching it now. It's gotten boring, but I want to finish the series because I've already committed so much time to it. I really wish it would end. Here's what I think they should do: 10 weeks, with 17 housemates entering on launch night (only 1 more than entered this series). NO entrances after that! Yes, they're not allowed to talk about the outside world, but you can still tell things from body language, tone of voice, who they talk to (because those are probably the more popular ones). To put it simply, every new entrance brings with him loads of clues about the outside world. Evict one person each week, as usual. Now, if only one person is evicted each week, there will be 8 in the finale (if that does happen, no big deal, just extend the finale by 10 minutes). But usually there are people who walk or get ejected from rule breaking. When someone is ejected or walks, do not replace that person. Simply have one less person in the house. NO NEW ENTRANCES. Ta-da! The perfect series of BB: Short, Simple, To the point.
