Silent Hill 4: The Room

A good game, for fans, however, Team Silent's last Silent Hill was a bit of a mess, No puzzles, Un creative levels (they where repeated) and Henry was well, Silent lol, although it had a awesome storyline


Resident Evil 4

The first game set away from the now nuked Racoon City, and quite creative, although it was a far cry from the other games, which isnt neccisarily a bad thing, just felt a bit like it was the begining of a whole new seires.

Grand Theft Auto IV

Loved and Hated by many fans alike, a number of fans dont like it because it doesnt have "fingurluss gluvs" or any of San Andreas style stats



Games that managed to avoid the curse of 4: Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4 and a few others.

Which games do you know that swayed a bit at the 4th installment?

colin mcrae rally 4 is the best on ps2. Still looks and feels good today.

To be fair gta 4 is not the 4th gta game.. But it does have number 4 on it, lol. The upcoming racer midnight club:LA is the 4th i think but could be the 5th if MC:dud edition remix is the 4th? What was the 4th tomb raider? I think games have the real test when the go next gen.. Tomb raider had probs when it went from PS1 to PS2.. Im sure there was some more.. Oh tenchu had problems aswell.

Lol been ages since i played this... Cant even remember the story! Lol. Cant be as bad as tomb raider darkness.. Not a good crossover. Even crash failed the ps2 crossover while gta got better.. Oh and driver failed the ps2 crossover big time.

Lol driv3r did that! Lol. Number 4 was ok but mass sales speak volumes. Dont think there making the next gen driver.. Shame tho. So many games been dropped.. Even that avlon game (PS3) that had screen shots in the ps2 magazine back in 2003! Lol oh dear. Best driver game was the first on.. Remember playing that and first tony hawks game.. Think it was 2000, but it dont beat tombstone from 1987 i think it was, lol oh dear.

4th mario game? Lol.. I know do a thread about games that fail to crossover from last gen to next gen, bit like tomb raider from ps1 to ps2, driver from ps1 to ps2... Plus games that have got better over the years, gta ps1, ps2 and now ps3 and is even better where as others have failed.

Residnet evil 4 COD 4 and metal gear solid are still great being that they ae from a continus series...driver 4 bored me to death crash racing was a brill game i really enjoyed it

Lol RE4 was ok, but it did suffer the curse, SH4 and GTA IV where good too
