The housemates have ditched their usual wardrobes in favour of some rather attractive uniforms for their first day at the Big Brother Primary School.

When the school bell sounded, the class knew they had five minutes to get dressed and go to assembly (such were the previous instructions from Head Teacher Big Brother).

This proved a cinch for all but Daniel, who quickly discovered that he'd lost his socks. His classmates soon came to his aid and found them - not in his blazer pocket as he'd thought, but under Nadia's bed.

Nevertheless, he made it to assembly in the nick of time, and proudly declared himself "here" when the Head Teacher called his name.

Everyone else did exactly the same - Victor adding "po po po" to his "here", thus firmly establishing himself as the class rebel.

During the break before their first period the smokers sneaked behind the bike sheds for a cheeky smoke, while some of the female pupils, deciding their school skirts were a little too frumpy made some alterations, hiking them up a few inches.

The school day has officially begun and double history is the first period.

In the two-hour class, the group must prepare re-enactments of historical events, as instructed below. Any re-enactment not following all of the rules stipulated will constitute a fail.

DEATH OF THE KING

Pupil: Ahmed

It's August 16th 1977 and the 42-year-old King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Aaron Presley is sitting on his toilet at his Graceland mansion, singing his hit recording "Love me Tender." The King is about to drop dead.

Ahmed must play the role of Elvis and sing the song "Love Me Tender". Big Brother will provide you with the lyrics to assist you during your performance.

Ahmed must create the toilet and customise the Elvis jump suit.

FIRST MAN ON THE MOON

Pupils: Daniel, Nadia, Victor

History:

The date is July 20th 1969, 4 days after launching from Cape Kennedy, USA, the first manned mission to the moon has just landed. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin are about to leave their ship, "Apollo 11" to become the first men ever to step foot on the surface of the moon and collect samples.

Victor must play the role of Neil Armstrong, Daniel the role of Buzz Aldrin and Nadia the astronaut who drives the spaceship and waves from the window.

Victor must deliver the line "That's one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind".

Pupils must create their spaceship, their astronaut costumes and a flag to plant on the surface of the moon.

WHEN GINGER LEFT THE SPICE GIRLS

Pupils: Jason, Becki

It's May 31st 1998 and the Spice Girls are Britain's most successful ever girl band. The girls, about to embark on a 40-city tour of Canada and the US, are waiting at the airport when Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, announces her decision to quit the band. Victoria Adams (Posh Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) are trying desperately to talk her round. Despite nine number one singles in the UK, Geri has made up her mind.

Jason must play Ginger and Becki must play Scary, Posh, Baby and Sporty Spice.

Jason must deliver the line "I don't want to be in your stupid band any more, I'm going solo".

Jason must wear the Union Jack dress and ginger wig and Becki must wear the dark wig. Pupils use the structure provided to create the other four Spice Girls. The structure should be worn, by Becki, across the shoulders and the mops shall be inserted to represent three Spice Girls. Each Mop head must have a face.

SINKING OF THE TITANIC

Pupils: Stuart, Michelle and Shell.

It's April 14th 1912, 4 days after the RMS Titanic set sail from Southampton on its maiden voyage across the Atlantic to New York. The ship is packed with 2, 227 passengers, from the cream of society to poor emigrants trying to start a new life and love has blossomed between two passengers from starkly different backgrounds. At 11:40pm the ship strikes an iceberg and starts to sink. Will the young lovers ever see each other again?

Stuart must play Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle must play Kate Winslet and Shell must play the role of the crew and the iceberg.

Stuart must deliver the line "Iceberg, dead ahead!"
