Which is the best part of this country to livie in?
The prosperous south with London, the South East, the M4 Corridor, or the frozen and soggy north? Some say the quality of life is better in the North as we have the North York Moors, the Lake District, the forest of Kielder, which has the darkest skies in the country and a new observatory. I for one prefer the North, having been born in the south and for a time lived in south London. |

South by miles. This is sunny all year long, people are real, less stressful life unlike Paris. I love my city, I love the way southern people live.

I've lived in the South West, East Midlands and Yorkshire and the North is friendlier by far.
As for which one is best..... I cant decide |

Hmmmm. I am a northerner living in London. They both have their good points. There is lots to do in London. However I do find Northern people more friendly. My roots are up North so I have to go with that. It's so expensive in London.

The North. I find that people in the North are very family and friend orientated but those in the South are career orientated. Theres also more to do up here because theres more bigger cities and its cheaper too. I'll never move out of the North West

For England I love London but I also adore Manchester so....
Ireland, the North is considered as Nothern Ireland, which isn't part of our country. I find anywhere but Dublin(east) far too quiet. |

North, up North you talk to your neighbour, down South you talk to a brick wall

I live in Leeds (the best northern city) and although I adore London and visit London quite often, I prefer the North becuase there is as much to do up north as there is down south, the people are friendlier and by the way the south is only occasionly slightly warmer than the North!
