Default To Tattoo or not to tattoo.......?

I have 2 already, in very discreet places so they arent on show.

I have a Black Gecko in just under the small of my back, heading south

and a cute red heart on my right hip.

But I've designed this:

And I was thinking of having it done going up my spine...... its a lot of work which is the main hesitation but I dont know.....

If you are hesitating about it dont do it... remember you have to live with it forever if your heart isnt in it 100% then I say dont do it. The worse thing that could happen is that you regret it!

Not many will see it up your spine, so I don't think there is much chance to regret it.

It looks REALLY nice btw.

I think you should do it, not only because it's nice but because you have made it yourself and you put so much efforts into it. It's not like you have chosen it from a catalogue.
I know that because the second one I did 2 weeks ago, I've designed it so it's like a great reward for the efforts you made.

Everyone is getting tattoo's these days. Be individual and don't get one. They are becoming a very distasteful trend imo.

Getting a tattoo has nothing to do with a trend. Those who do tattoos because it's 'so hot OMG OMG 111' are stupid idiots.
A tattoo is something so personal and intimate, it generally means something important.

Then it's far from being a trend.
(I do sound really passionate about the topic lol)

It does feel really special because I designed it. I've been wanting another tattoo for ages.

Its not that I am hesitating as such its just where to have it..... I thought about having it in the inside of my wrist but decided that is just too obvious. Thats when I thought about going up my spine.

I love the fact its colourful but pretty too..... I might just have a pop into Peterbourgh and take the design into the place I had my last one done in to see how long it will take and of course the cost

Yeah but the majority of people who 'omg i gotzaaa getsa tattooo !!!1' are seeing it as a trend. It's not an insult to tattoo's but incase the person who posted this topic was like that then I would advise not. Get what I mean? So in a way I'm agreeing really.

Oh right. It's just that, like pinkmichk said, it freaks me out when I see some people wanting to do some because it's a trend or because 'My fave celebrity has one'

I know what you mean, if it was the first tattoo I had then this would be too big and definitely say noooo. But I have some already so I know that once its done there is not much going back

Having one done needs a lot of thought which is why I made this thread really

Exactly, especially when you designed it, you always want to do something to make it more perfect.
But I don't regret my 2nd one, it's ace.

Kiz, just do it.

If you have a doubt about it then don't have it done because you might regret it after its done.
It is a nice design and i'm sure it would look great.
I want to get a tattoo but I don't know what to have or where

Hi Kiz my daughter has something almost identical to the one you have designed with her son's name in the biggest star. She has it on her wrist but it is still quite big, but it looks lovely.

nah don't....those stars don't really say much about who YOU are.
For laughs why not start a thread and get the arty types around here to design an image that they think is more you. People who know you can offer suggestions and talk of how they see you and then arty types here at tibb can create images based on those descriptions. At the end you can judge all the posts and decide which if any of the images will be used to PERMANENTLY DISFIGURE you!! .
