It has come to my attention that there is this whole thing over Christina, copying Lady Gaga.

Like firstly, this shows a old Promo pic of Gaga, while the one of Christina is a recent one taken in October 2008, hmm bit of a coincidence?



Also it has been really obvious that recently Christinas Hair (Big Fringe), clothes all look way to similar what Lady Gaga normally wears.

And that Lady Gaga has been known to describe her work as "Pop Art"
In an earlier interview Gaga perviously said''

"Andy made fine art out of, I don’t know, commercial … the concept of commercial work. And that’s what I’m trying to do. It’s pop music, but it’s art. It’s pop art music"

And recently Christina has gone on to say;;
"Also, speaking of Warhol, Nico from the Velvet Underground … so it all kind of ties in to a pop-art feel and twist, with a mod look. But a futuristic taste of what's to come."

I know its a lame comparison but its just that she denys and lies about it when its fairly obvious, no doubt all the Christina fans will slate me, but it has become quite obvious. Its either her, or Christina style team or w/e have been copying Lady Gaga's look.

I understand, there isn't really a problem but there has been quite a big thing about it and was just trying to point it out really.

I have noticed christina mimiking her looks and sound but IMO christina way better

I hope she changes her looks soon, the look doesn't suit Christina, it makes her look plastic-y and fake.

Lady Gaga's hardly original.
Her style and sound is influenced by various artists, so it's not like she invented that music/fashion.

How is that photo Christina's fault?
It's the photographer who directed that photoshoot, so it's down to her/him, not Christina.

Lady Gaga's genre of music is popular. Britney does it, Goldfrapp do it, Ladytron do it [and may I add; did it first].
It's not surprising that Christina wants to move into that genre, it's popular, and she reinvents herself with every album, and this is just a new sound and a new look for her. You could say she was copying Victoria Heart with her blues sound, they had an identical look and sound but Victoria Heart isn't well known so no-one would compare them.

I don't thinm she's copying her, they just both happen to be doing the same thing, I mean Lady Gaga is hardly the first artist to take ispirations from Andy Warhol.
