Default Turn the sound down ffs

During Eoghans performance he moved away from the mic and it sounded no different (not that I'm complaining) and in Diana's the backing track was too loud and she was completely drowned out.

Turn the backing tracks down and let us here them SING!!

Having heard all the vocals tonight, it's no bad thing that they were drowned out by the backing singers. Most of the real vocal talent has been lost from the competition. Alex did a good job with her second song, but aside from that, everything else was diabolical.

They do it for Diana and Eoghan, on purpose. At least they didnt do it on Diana's 2nd song.

I agree with Eoghan on ABBA, the back up singers completely drowned him out.

I think the standard is appalling this year. And, I've heard a lot of other people saying the same. Of course there will always be people you like and dislike in a show like this, but the standard of talent is usually much higher.

Most are saying the overall standard of the final 12 has been the highest we've had, but we've chosen the wrong people to go at the wrong time ...

i agree it looked so perfect at the beginning and then it just went downward . .

they really should review the Bottom 2 system we lost Scott, Austin & Laura when they had so much more to bring to the show!

and maybe the mentor systems should be scrapped too but thats just a fascist ideal gone bonkers

The mentor thing is only so Simon Fuller doesn't sue the arse off Simon Cowell for ripping off Pop Idol.

I don't think Scott had much to bring though, he was just another Leon.
