Big Brother's Dan Bryan was reportedly mobbed as he appeared in court to fight a motoring charge.

Fans, fellow defendants, ushers and solicitors lined up for autographs as word spread that the reality star was at Hull Magistrates Court, says the Daily Star.

Dan, wearing dark glasses and a flat cap faced a parking charge, the paper reports.

He was greeted by the court clerk who said: "Hello, we recognise you from TV."

Dan, 30, of west Hull, denies waiting in his Saab in a prohibited area. The case was adjourned until next month for a pre-trial hearing.

Outside court, Dan said: "I have contested a speeding fine before, and I won. I don't take anything lying down."
