Default Do you hate it when?

You're on the bus/train or wherever and it is quite full... say there's 3 seats left and someone comes on and don't sit next to you... they'd rather stand or just sit somewhere else and it's like "eh, what the? do I smell or something?"

Doesn't happen to me alot but it did the other day and I was like

No, I hate people that I don't know sitting by me so I'd be quite happy if that happened.

I always sit on the inside seat... so no one can sit next to me. Or I put my bag down next to me. I hate people sitting next to me on public transport. Also I tend to get out work and I do it, and I cant do that with someone sat next to me!

I'd rather people dont sit next to me, I give them evils if they think about it.

Hahahaha!!! It happens to me sometimes. Its really annoying. Some people are just afraid of contact with strangers. I feel bad for them, cause I am quite friendly with strangers. They even have this fearful look on their faces.

as i said its about person space.
even pigeons do it,next time your out look up at the roofs and you will see when the line up theres almost the exact same space between then psychologists suggest its an inborn self protection, strange but true.

The thing that REALLY bugs me is you will always get that one happy-go-lucky old weirdo whom even though the bus is DESERTED and FULL of empty seats, still chooses to sit next to you.

WHY?!

Company with me im told is like disembowling oneself with an assortment of garden tools, so I doubt it.

Lol im one of those people that do that, if i see a seat for some reason i'll just stand. Sometimes i do it without realising and sometimes theres a reason for me not sitting next to someone.

Getting on a bus with old people is quiet a scary experience too, I find. They convince themselves you are trying to get on first, and you are, but you also know that they know that they are just as obsessed with getting on first. It is one of the primary carnal instincts our senior citizens have held dear.

I've always got my headphones on and then if someone sits next to me and I need to get off I end up shouting at them, haha.

I don't mind either way really, I hate when you get a really big chav sitting next to you. Eugh.

I hate people sitting next to me, but I hate people sstanding up if there's enough seats, it just makes it awkward to move aroudn them to get off the bus then.

LOL yes! I feel like a tramp or something. Actually, it happened last week. Some woman sat next to me, then moved somewhere else. Then she came back later.

1 The intimate zone.
between 6 and 18 inches.of all the zone distances this is by far the most inportant as it is this zone yhat the person guards as if it were his own property.only those who are emotionaly close to us are permitted to enter.theses include lovers, parents, spouces pets and so on.ther is a sub zone that extends up to 6in from the body that can only be entered during intimate contact.this is the close intimate zone.

2 The personal zone.
between 18in and 48in.this is the distance that we stand from others at parties and gatherings.

3.The social zone.
between 4 and 12feet.we stand this at this distance from strangers, the plumber carpenter and postman whome we dont no well just yet.

4.The public zone.
is over 12feet.whenever we address a large group of people this is the comfortable distance we choose.

All these distances tend to reduce between 2 women and increase between 2 men.

While we tolerate strangers moving in on uor personal or social zones the intrusion of a stranger into our intimate zone causes physilogical changes to take place.the heart pumps faster adrenalin pours into the blood stream, and blood is pumped to the brain and the muscles as a physical preparation for possible fight or flight situation are made.
so if you feel uncomfortable when meeting some one for the first time or someone sits next to you on a bus or cafe it maybe that they have invaded your personal zone.
