Personally, I think so far '09 has been one of the best years in music since 2006, so many fresh faces are coming up, and the old faces are there still, so I vote yes

Hmm. It was always going to be very hard to beat 08 but 09 is shaping up well. Taylor Swift, Lady GaGa, ect are all great to have on the scene along with the returns of Kelly Clarkson and Lily Allen as well as Britney. But the rest of the year will be far more interesting what with La Roux, Frankmusik, Little Boots and Florence and The Machine all dropping albums.

Not really not many good acts have done much yet, it's gonna get better later on when the good artists start to release albums.

So far it's been utterly boring, there's only been one or two good albums and more then a few promising singles.

I haven't heard much from new artists that I've liked yet.

Pros - Lily Allen's new material, Kelly Clarkson's new stuff looks good.
Cons - Lady Gaga, Flo Rida, Akon, T.I. all these other **** rappers.

I'll wait until I've got my hands on the upcoming Green Day, U2 (out now but haven't got it yet), The Doves, The Prodigy and Marilyn Manson albums before I decide. And I think we need a lot more new artists.

2008 was AMAZING for me, best year so far this decade!
I'll wait for Green Day, Christina Aguilera, Frankmusik, Little Boots, and Calvin Harris before I decide.
