Default Favourite \'Gay\' song/artist

I don't mean by a singer/group thats gay, I mean whats your favourite song/artist asociated often with Gay pop culture.

Eg - YMCA/Britney Spears/Kylie.

Mine HAS to be Kylie Minogue, I love like all of her songs. And then Faith/Club Tropicanna by George Michael.

So, you think stereotypes are stupid, yet in the Best Song Of 2008 thread you said:

LOL Sam got owned. Surely you must all particulary like a gay song associated with Gay Pop Culture, even if it is stereotypical.

Oh come on... as people always say they are there for a reason.
(Which I disagree with)

What about YMCA? We all love that basically.

I suppose Magic, I didn't mean to come across so bitchy :P

I just look at music as music, I don't really associate things like that. I know what you mean by 'gay music', obviously, but I listen to Kylie because I like it, the fact I'm bisexual is just a coincidence. I have straight friends that like her music, and gay ones.

I don't like the gay clubbing scene, though. Too many awful remixes of already rubbish songs. I do like the 'eurodance' genre though.

Stereotypes are not always necessarily a bad thing though. And it's not as if you have to fall into them.

So many artists are greatful for having such a large gay fanbase anyway - after all, we are boosting their sales and going to their concerts.

Anyway, I am going to go down the artist route but in a different way... I think Will Young is a talented guy and I like a lot of his songs. 'Switch It On' is a turn on.
