Why are there no English housemates in English Big Brother?

So is Karly... Cairon was born here which therefore makes him English too albeit he lived in the U.S most of his life so far, as is Freddy and Noirin although not "English" is from N-Ireland which is the UK.

So erm at least NINE/TEN of FIFTEEN HM's are English.

Surely if the housemates have lived in the UK/Ireland for how ever long then they are now British citizens so should be allowed in BB. They have auditions in Dublin I think - not sure?

British show, but the UK is the most diversile country in the world. So many different races and cultures. We are an example to the rest of the world I reckon. I like this years housemates, In a way its like Big Brother World... but good

R.O.I isn't part of the UK, but is it part of GB? I don't think it is that either...

its a great diverse mix of housemates!! they should do this next year too!! its obviously more entertaining this way! putting many different characters in the house!!

other countries who do bb ought to be ashamed of themselves!! and they should allow people from different countries in their house!!
