Default Whats wrong with Big Brother

This year we have had 1 party. That was the best episode of the series (and one of the best episodes ever). In all the last Big Brothers they had parties all the time. It nearly always gave us good viewing. With viewing figers falling, and even some BB fans giving up. The answer is easy. More drink and more parties. Why dont they do this???

i think they are trying to avoid the repeat of "fight night" again, was it bb5 or 6? the one where Viktor was in.

Housemates had lots of alcohol "parties" so they were pisssed out of their heads most evenings. It was fun for the viewers but then things started to get out of hand and some idiots called police to the BB house. So since then BB produces have been limiting alcohol intake of the housemates.

I have come to the decision that they have decided to axe the show, they only advertise when they want people to vote and bring in money, its never on at the same time and they stopped LF, I think between police and ofcom getting involved and people complaining maybe they have decided to call it a day, or maybe there is just no where for the show to go that its the same type of people that apply to go on BB, or it could be pressure on the amount of alchol that youngsters are consuming and dont want to be seen to be encouraging binge drinking, just my thoughts

This is all true. They're too worried that people will criticise the amount of alcohol they deal out, because it practically translates directly, alcohol night = war, and when there's war, there's the potential for another tiny discriminatory slip-up that'll land BB in the **** agian.

True.
But in series like that they've had people completely wasted. Like in BB6 when Anthony got really drunk & was like throwing up alover Craig.

Also in BB7 when they had to drag Glyn out of bed to throw up. Like they never have that amount of alcohol anymore.

& weren't they drunk last year when spitgate happened?

Adults should be able to watch what they want and children have their parents to tell them what they can and cannot see. So bring on the alcohol and let the public determine whether they want to see the housemates pissed or not.

With the coverage of the show or rather the lack of it and the need to bring back past HM's it really is beginning to look very tired at times. Tonights HL's were better than usual at least something happened. Sometimes it seems like they are trying to put the show to rest, surely they can't be that devoid of ideas to freshen the show up. Most of the HM's are to savvy now and know how to manipulate a situation to suit their own ends. So alcohol is an option alright lol.

They could at least give them a footy for a kick around, or let someone take a guitar in so they can sit around, write some tunes and have a sing song.....I'd struggle to keep myself entertained in that house for more than an hour...let alone 6 weeks.....eek

I agree that its a confined space and regardless of what they reckon they will do in the house it never works out that way they think it will, but if they do it next year maybe they should make it eco friendly house, electricity would come from solar, wind or water power, they could grind their own flour lol and have chickens for eggs, have a garden for food etc... and if they wanted alchol they would have to make themselves lol

I'm not sure if the guitar was to stop it becoming a show for showcasing popstar wannabe's.....if it's something they give the housemates for an evening or something just a bit different to get the creative juices flowing....
