POPSTAR Boy George is about to be banged up again - in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

But this time it is in the Big Brother house, we can exclusively reveal.

The gender-bending pop star is already used to being confined in a small space.


He was jailed earlier this year for imprisoning a rent boy in his flat.


Now he has been released, Boy George wants to sign up for the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.


The former Culture Club singer, 48, has turned down offers to appear on the show in the past.


But now he has decided to give it a go and it is rumoured he has bagged a £200,000 fee for agreeing to sign.


George said recently he is the happiest he has ever been and his stint in jail made him change for the better.


He said: “I had prison coming to me. It wasn’t that big a surprise, I kind of knew it was going to happen.


“I just thought: ‘I’m going to make this work for me.’ I got a job quite quickly and worked in the kitchen.”

Either way, it would be a great addition to the house because, well, he is a bit of a nutter and people like this are always more entertaining than the sweet, daft, quiet boy band/soap actor feller, like. Boy George is a nutter. A friend of mine knew somebody who used to share a flat with him and he had many a tale to tell apparently. He would be great in CBB.

Haha! I did fancy Boy George back in the Culture Club days! Shame he is gay!! I love him now still though, he is great in interviews and was great on Jonathan Ross when he performed his single "time machine" ages ago and was wearing a giant question mark turban on his head

All we need now is Macaulay Culkin!!

I suppose I am happy enough with Boy George! He has LEGEND written all over him!

I reckon Macaulay Culkin would demand more than 200 grand? He did make millions when he was a child star after all..

I sense a great celebrity big brother! Suppose anything will beat last year's.. lol

Yeah I heard he turned down the series which Pete Burns was in.. because Boy George wanted to be the only bitch or something? lol. He is not really a bitch anymore, he is a great down to earth eccentric character!! I can't wait!!!!!
